由中国科协、财政部、教育部、科学技术部、国家新闻出版署、中国科学院、中国工程院联合实施的“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划项目”资助，中国中西医结合杂志社开展了第一届Chinese Journal ofIntegrative Medicine 高国际影响学术论文遴选活动。本次活动旨在助力中国优秀科技期刊建设，激发中西医结合、中医药工作者传承创新，勇于探索的积极性，发现和凝聚卓越人才，提升本刊学术影响力。

本次活动遴选范围为Chinese Journal ofIntegrative Medicine 2017年1月1日至2018年12月31日正刊发表的学术论文。以文章被引频次，尤其是在Web of Science收录期刊的被引频次为主指标，定量评价遴选入围论文，经专家定性评价，最终遴选出十篇高影响论文。获奖论文第一作者与通讯作者入选Chinese Journal ofIntegrative Medicine卓越人才库，并奖励每篇获奖论文人民币2000—3000元（含税）。
