Abstract:

The alterations of cytokines (TNF, PGE2) . plasma lipopolysaccharide and their prognosticinfluences in 58 patients with intra-abdominal infection were observed with enzyme linked immunosorbentassay (ELISA) and radioimmunoassay (RIA) . The result revealed earlier improvement of abnormal valuesof parameters, faster reduction of the level of and detectable rate of serum tumor necrosis tactor, higherendotoxin detoxication rate and lower morbidity in the treated group than in the control. The theoreticalbasis of pharmacological effect and possible mechanism were explored.
