Abstract: |
The leucocytic glucocorticoid receptors (GCR) were estimated in 20 patients with Yang-Deficiency Syndrome using a radioligand binding method and plasma cortisol was measured at the same time. Results showed that the levels of plasma cortisol and leucocytic GCR of patients were all significantly lower than the healthy control group, and the changes were more significant in 10 cases of hypofunction of endocrinopathy with manifestation of Yang-Deficiency and Yang-Deficiency patients aged <40 years. The mechanism and relationship between GCR and plasma cortisol were also discussed in this article. |
