Abstract:

Patients with ischemic apoplexy were treated with Buyang Huanwu Tang Granule for 10 weeks. The total effective rate was 88.5%. The clinical cure and markedly effective rates were 42.3%. Buyang Huanwu Tang Granule could improve hemorrheologic indexes and enhance the activity of erythrocyte sodium pump ([⁰K _Na ^OS ]) in patients of ischemic apoplexy. The effect of Buyang Huanwu Tang Granule No. 1 with large dosage of Radix Astragali was superior to Buyang Huanwu Tang Granule No. 3.
