Abstract:

Objective: To evaluate the effect of mediation principle in retarding the progress of chronic re nal failure. Methods: One hundred patients with chronic renal failure (CRF)were treated mainly by the media tion principle (MP) and the effect was observed. Results: The progress of CRF treated with MP was slowerthan that not treated with MP. There was very significant difference between the regression coefficient. Con clusion: MP could markedly retard the progress of CRF. The therapeutic mechanism might be through loweringhypertension, reducing hyperlipemia, enhancing fibrinolysis and modulating the immunologic function.
