Abstract:

Objective: To determine the effects of Ginkgo leaf concentrated oral liquor (GLC) on airway inflammation. Methods: Airway hyperreactivity, clinical symptoms and pulmonary functions of asthma patients were determined. Results: In contrast to placebo group, GLC significantly reduced airway hyperreactivity (P<0. 05) and improved clinical symptoms (P < 0. 05 ) and pulmonary functions (P < 0. 05 ) of the asthmatic patients. Conclusion: GLC is an effective drug of anti-airway inflammation.
