Abstract:

In recent 20 years, there has been an increasing trend in the incidence of pancreatic cancer both at home and abroad. An estimated 31 860 new cases and 31 270 deaths are expected to occur in the United States in 2004 due to this disease, the 4th and 5th leading cause of cancer death for men and women respectively(1).
