中西医结合治疗糖尿病周围神经病变疗效观察

29例非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病合并周围神经病变患者分成两组:一组为控制血糖组共12例,经8个月严格控制血糖,正中、尺、腓运动神经传导速度和正中、尺感觉神经潜伏期获改善,而且改善的程度与空腹血糖和糖基化血红蛋白降低的程度密切相关;另一组为针灸加控制血糖组共17例,经1与3个月的治疗,分别有82.4%和90.0%的患者神经病变临床症状得到改善,但正中、尺、腓运动神经传导速度和正中、尺感觉神经潜伏期未得到改善。

Treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy was a difficult clinical problem.Fasting plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin Al(HbAl),motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and distal sensory nerve latency(SNL)in a group of 12 non-insulin dependent diabetic patients were studied before and after strict control of blood sugar for 8 months.The therapeutic effect of strict control of blood sugar and acupuacture for neurologic clinical manifestation and MNCV,SNL in group of 17 non-insulin dependent diabetic patients were also investigated.Tight diabetic control significantly reduced the fasting plasma glucose(FPG) and HbAl after 8 months of treatment.The median,ulna,peroneal MNCV and median,ulna SNL were improved following adequate control of FPG and HbAl levels.Moreover,the extent of improvement of ulna MNCV and median SNL was closely related to the degree of reduction of HbAl.On acupuncture for 1 to 3 months 82.41% and 90% of the 17 patients respectively showed the clinical improvement.But their MNCV and SNL were not altered by acupuncture during the course of 3 months.
