      本文从肾上腺皮质形态学的角度探讨了电针防止外源性糖皮质激素所致肾上腺皮质萎缩的可能性。结果表明:电针显著减轻了地塞米松所引起的肾上腺皮质萎缩,对肾上腺皮质的结构具有一定的保护作用。

      The possibility of electro-acupuncture at Zusanli(S36)for preventing the dexamethasone-induced atrophy of adrenal cortex in rabbits was investigated.Results:(1)Relative weight of adrenal gland (mg/100g body weight,±SD):Dexamethasone with electro-acupuncture group(DEAG)11.88±1.29, dexamethasone group(DG)8.09±0.90.difference between DEAG and DG was significant(P<0.05). (2)Density of nuclei in three zones of adrenal cortex(number of nuclei/50×50μm,±SD):(a)Zona glomerulosa:DEAG 17.25±0.85,DG 16.88±0.79(P>0.05).(b)Zona fasciculata:DEAG 12.96±0.46,DG 18.29±0.76,difference between DEAG and DG was highly significant(P<0.01).(c)Zona reticularis: DEAG 14.99±0.78,DG 19.49±0.82,difference between DEAG and DG was also highly significant(P< 0.01).(3)The area of nuclei of zona fasciculata(μm~2,±SD):DEAG 27.25±0.79,DG 20.50±0.90,(P< 0.01).The above-mentioned results suggest that electro-acupuncture at Zusanli could significantly prevent the dexamethasone-induced atrophy of adrenal cortex in rabbits.
