| A tracing method was established to reproduce pressure pulse-waves in dogs.Taut pulse was reproduced with intravenous drip of 1mg% noradrenaline solution at the rate of 5-10gt.per minute,and smooth pulse was achieved with an infusion of 6% dextran(molecular weight 45,000-95,000)about 15ml/kg body weight.The interrelation between the taut pulse and hemodynamics was studied.It was observed that cubital pulse-waves varied in form with the changes of hemodynamic factors, principally the total systemic vascular resistance(TSVR).The parameters of pulse-waves and hemodynamic indexes determined simultaneously were analysed by means of computer.It has been demonstrated that the appearance of taut pulse is related significantly to the increment of TSVR and/or cardiac output,and the appearance of smooth pulse to the increase in blood volume of circulation,cardiac output and reduction in TSVR.However,the changes of the pulse-wave are related more closely to the integration of hemodynamics. |
