| In order to investigate the effect of drugs for activating blood circulation and removing stasis on pathomorphologic lesions in glomerulonephritis,Ligustrazine and Activating Blood Circulation Injection(Salvia miltiorrhiza,Paeonia Lactiflora and Curcuma aromatica)were used to treat Masugi nephritis rabbits daily,together with urine protein assay.Renal biopsies were performed on the second day(heterologous phase)and the ninth day (autologous phase)after injecting nephrotoxic serum,and autopsy was done on the thirtieth day or thereabouts for immunofluorescent and pathomorphologic observation. The results showed that the proteinuria,the fibrin deposition in glomeruli and the pathomorphologic lesions were not so severe as those seen in the control animals.The crescent formation rate and the eosinophil infiltration rate were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.01). |
