大黄是临床上用来治疗慢性肾功能衰竭最广泛的中药。综述了大黄治疗慢性肾功能衰竭机制的研究进展,并提出对大黄活性成分的筛选要结合人体的药动学研究结果,认为大黄酸可能是大黄治疗慢性肾功能衰竭的唯一活性成分。

英文摘要:

Rhubarb is the most popular traditional Chinese herb used in treating chronic renal failure (CRF). This paper reviewed progress in research of CRF treated by rhubarb. The authors emphasize that screening active ingredients of rhubarb should be done in combining with the results of pharmacokinetic study in human being. Viewing from this aspect, rhein may be the only active ingredient for CRF.
