通过对英汉中医术语中词汇空缺现象的多角度分析,结合翻译实践,在充分体现中医内涵的基础上,总结了中医术语空缺词汇英译时应遵循的基本原则和策略及其在中医术语翻译标准化研究中的重要性。

英文摘要:

Through multi-angular analysis on the phenomena of lexical gap in English translation of TCM terms and combining with the practice in translating work, the basic principles and strategies that ought to be adopted in English translating TCM vacant terms (TCM terms lacking for counterparts ) were summarized on the basis of displaying fully the intention of the terms, and their significance in researches for normalization of TCM terms translation was discussed.
