慢性乙型病毒性肝炎(chronic viral hepatitis B, CHB)是危害我国人民健康的重大传染病。鉴于中医对乙肝辨证施治的特色和优势，本文回顾了迄今CHB的证候客观化研究，并针对其存在的问题，从“病-证结合”研究出发，提出了还原论与整体论、控制论与系统论相结合，基于系统生物学的CHB中医证候生物学基础的研究思路、方法和研究途径。
